Roots Touchup!

From this:

To this!

Woo! I honestly don't think I have ever redone my roots. I always just dye it back to black or something when it starts growing in but I was really sick of the faded burnt orange color and the fact that I could only style my hair completely down without seeing nothing but roots. The whole process was actually pretty easy.

Apply Bleach. (I use the mix powder with 40 volumizer and a brush).

Watch it turn blonde!

Then I washed it out, conditioned, let dry. Added dye and voila! Happiness is newly dyed hair.

P.S. Check out this wicked Wolverine tattoo I found in a box of childhood things at my Grandma's!

Hair Time.

Well, IDK but I woke up today just knowing I was going to lose half my hair, from either side of my head. So long to growing my hair out (basically)...

Mohawk again..I'm just drawn to it over and over but boy oh boy do I need to redye my hair! I had it all these different shades of orange/red/faded black/blonde/yellow/etc. and now that I shaved the sides, one's mostly blonde and one's 1/3 black 1/3 red 1/3 blonde. It looks pretty funny. I rarely ever spike it when I have it, just wear it down. I forgot HOW GOOD it feels not to have all that hair, even if my hair still wasn't extra long. Fresh air on the sides of your head feels so nice (I'll probably regret this when it's in the 30s tonight). Anyways, I'll try to get a good picture (maybe after I redye it haha).

And I would looove to have a dread on either side of my head where I did these little braids..

This picture is such a weird angle! Looks like I have no chin and I have gauged ears but it's right on so my ear just kinda looks weird. ha

Also made chocolate covered peanutbutter balls! Yum!

The recipe *off the top of my head* really simple, 2 cups pb, 4 cups powdered sugar, 1 cup butter, then I crush up graham crackers (you can use rice puffs, trail mix, whatever) until it's an okay consistency, clump them together, cover in chocolate and then stick in teh freezer on some wax paper for a bit. Pretty simple although a bit messy and I always have issues with clumping them together super easily.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

It's not a Snuggie.

So funny, Frances and I had mentioned wanting Snuggies (yet feel horrible joining the Snuggie bandwagon). Really, they are a great design! Those who are not avid readers just don't understand. Last night we went to get Italian Ice and then walked around the stores (Marc's trying to find some new shorts). The first thing I see is......

Mine! hahaha, and it's not a Snuggie! Technically. Either way, I can now read peacefully on the cold, winter nights. I wish they had two because I would have gotten Frances one. Maybe we can share custody.

Then we went to Sally's and I got some purple haze hair dye.. not sure exactly what I want to do to my hair but I GUESS I'm growing it out again.. I usually get really bored with my hair which is why I always end up chopping it off. I used to dye it orange here and there but now that I have a job that wants you to look """PROFESSIONAL""" I can't--unless I go back to the wig I wore when I had a mohawk (ha). Maybe I could just use the 'punky professional' dye Marc told me about-harhar-

Current hair (after being out in the hothotheat)

kind of a weird growing out shortness

I also made shorts out of a pair of teal pants I had...just TOO much teal to cover all of my legs, idk. Plus I need some shorts-added a Cobra Skulls patch to the back pocket (which I still need to do another run through with needle and thread) and voila! shorts :) and they're the perfect length.
